A Little Fuel Goes A Long Way
In
the interest of being proactive the Federal Government is releasing
emergency diesel reserves to the Northeast. Increasing fuel supplies
will help bring stability to the region by:
- Helping to prevent a runup in commodity prices or price gouging on fuel
- Helping to stabilize transportation in the Northeast
- Reducing strain on fuel supplies in other regions
Hopefully this will accelerate efforts to restabilize the Northeast after the aftermath of Sandy.
