Hey Car Hauler...One Less Future Toll On I-95

Sometimes finding good news is not always that easy. Sometimes you have to spin and contort to get the right light shining on that silver lining. Well guess what? This is one of those times. So here we go

According to a Truckinginfo.com article I-95 is only going to put up one toll instead of two.

I can only imagine your level of excitement but this is still good news. This is the first move by ANYONE to scale back the number of tolls. Up to now it has been a feeding frenzy of states poised to toll the trucking industry into financial oblivion. Now there is a chink in their armor.

car hauler for sale:
I love the idea of this but 2 months seems kind of tight for a new truck buyer to resume normal payments. I guess the thinking is that since finance is the big hurdle the two months of $99 finance is like a bonus. I would be interested to say how well the program does Who knows maybe it will go industry wide someday...maybe even to car haulers. Though I currently see no plans in sight, I a can tell you that if someone offered aggressive finance and two months of $99 in the car hauler
industry on a Cottrell...the buyers would be lined up around the door.

Commentary on article pertaining to Car Haulers: New Jersey Congressmen Call for Suspension in Toll Hikes - Truckinginfo.com

With the Government feeding frenzy for revenue, one has to wonder what the impact of tolls will mean for car haulers. On the one hand, costs have been going up everywhere. On the other hand, the people buying cars are not seeing very much growth in their wages, making it unlikely that the costs of cars can keep increasing, since they will have priced themselves out of competition. Eventually it could have a massive impact on the Car Hauler Industry.

Hey Car Hauler...The Tollman Cometh

This sounds like a joke but the cost of running your car hauler has just gone up...I commend the Federal government for reeling in the feeding frenzy of states who wanted to start tolls everywhere. They slowed this process down BUT 3 states already have the approval to start tolling the interstates.

This has been a familiar trend. Every car hauler knows that regulations have spun out of control and the cost to run a car hauler trailer have increased exponentially. Now there is the added expense of these 3 tolls to run your car hauler. The states are:

  • North Carolina
  • Virginia
  • Missouri
